Anyone know any good indian-grocer type thing in the Fitzroy area? I'm looking for dahl/lentils etc to try and make some sambar (so sambar powder too probably). |

| | Yes | ] | I thought I'd try this whole writing-LJ-posts thing again. Having Facebook kinda takes away from your LJ use without really replacing it with anything except memes that now also steal your privacy (mmm paranoia). As some of you may or may not know, I moved out of my old house about 2 weeks ago now, and am now living with de_chel in Fitzroy. Vidya ( laylika) and I are still together, and approaching our third anniversary as strong as ever (or so I believe). Expecting to spend more time with uni people and less with Hallamites after the move was incorrect, as with the exception of Heather and Tom I haven't really seen people much at all. And I've gone back to Hallam 3 times or so :P. Just because they actually organise stuff, but I guess I should motivate myself to wander down to uni or maybe even see if there is a local LAN that uni people wouldn't mind attending for some DotA/L4D/games (hey there harkon ;) ). Other than that, not much to report! But... then again. Last time I wrote a tedious, pointless post with zero formatting and comments disabled I hid a message in there somewhere. Only I'd have to be a pretty silly person to do that again. Lol. |

Heh.
On the way walking back from the station a guy leaned out of the window a car and yelled "Hey sexy!". I yelled back a "heyyyy!" of my own.
Good to be appreciated. |
